Conveyancing

Your Property Transaction, Handled with Care

What is Conveyancing?

Conveyancing is the legal process of transferring legal ownership of real estate from one person or entity to another. In Zimbabwe, property transfers are strictly governed by the Deeds Registries Act and require a registered Conveyancer: a qualified legal practitioner who has passed specialized conveyancing examinations and holds a valid practicing certificate.

Whether you are purchasing your first home, registering a mortgage bond, transferring property within a family, or managing property from the diaspora, conveyancing ensures that title deeds are securely and lawfully registered with the Deeds Registry.

Key Legal Requirements

Under Zimbabwean law, only a registered Conveyancer is legally authorized to draft title deeds, prepare mortgage bond documents, and lodge transfer papers with the Registrar of Deeds.
